How To Grow a Black Women

Updated: Feb 8, 2022

I am seed in cream.

I am blossom during the summer.

I am my aunt, my grandmother, my mother.

Grow me with boundaries,

Cover me with dew

See me sprout Watch me bloom

Surround me with an advocate

Speak up for my way

Speak up for my light

Bring Me In

Push Me Out

Pull Me Close

Give Me Up

Stand In Front Have My Back

Let My Vine Twist

Let My Stem Turn

Water My Roots

Expose My Fruit

Let Me Light Branches

Let My Soul Glow

Hymns, Hemmed, and Hemp

Organic, Natural, Rich

Even Weeds Have Their Place

Even Wind Have It's Pace

Relate, Reveal, Reintegrate

This is Growth

This is Growth

This is Growth

How to grow a black woman? I am still growing.
